History

Kültür A.Ş. is a commercial incorporated company established in October 1989 as an affiliate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to provide culture, art and tourism services.

In line with its founding objectives, Kültür A.Ş. arranges a wide range of organizations to promote Istanbul’s cultural, geographical and artistic beauties both in Turkey and abroad, such as cultural events, publishing activities, operation of museums and cultural venues, open-air advertisements, as well as national and international symposia and festivals. To this end, the company operates as an actor in the field of culture and art by entering public tenders or devising its own projects by procuring financing with sponsorships or through its own resources.

A bridge connecting the East and the West, Istanbul is home to the traces of many ancient civilizations and cultures.
